To the ends of the earth: I can sympathize with this girl. She just had mor...

I can see Veta doing this in about 6 years, or less. I'd be tempted to also.

Ask Scott about the photo opportunity he missed sending you from Pei Wei the other night.

January Ladies Night - January 15th!

We'll have our January ladies night on Thursday, January 15th.
Fayeson will host it at their home and we'll have our first "You Asked For It".
Send her any questions or topics you'd like to discuss, and she'll prepare to share.
Their address is 619 Lakestone Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. Mapquest should get you there fine.

We'll gather at 7:30 p.m.

Once I talk to her I'll get a list of munchies or such. Richard is going to bring hot doughnuts for us to enjoy!

Looking forward to it!

We'll have our December ladies night on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:30 p.m. at Kristen Wofford's Home (directions are below).
Thanks to Kristen for opening her home to us!

We'll have a cookie and gift exchange. This is always such a fun time of fellowship and a night to relax in the midst of the busyness of the season!

Plan on bringing a gift to exchange with a limit of $5. A good gift, not a gag gift. Past items have been such as gift cards, candles, bedroom slippers, and ornaments, just to name a few for ideas.

We'll also exchange cookies. I'll send an e-mail out the weekend before as to how many we'll bring. I can't say until I know how many we have coming. These will be to take home, so bring a tin or container to gather your cookies to take!
A note - If it's not too much trouble, we have a member with dairy allergies and it'd be wonderful if she could share in the cookie exchange too. If your recipe calls for butter or margarine (which most cookies do), if you can, and don't mind, using Smart Balance (just the plain, not the 50/50, it needs to be lactose free, it's in the section with spreads like Country Crock and such) she'll be able to take part. Not many cookies call for milk, but either let me know if you come with ones that do or substitute with a lactose free milk. It's not expensive and can be found at wal-mart and other groceries. You can use any leftover for your own butter/milk. I baked something tonight with the Smart Balance and it substitutes baking wise and taste wise perfectly. This is not a have to, obviously, just a request so we can all take part. If you can't or forget, it's not the end of the world, just let us know that night.

We also will be bringing some light munchies (We wont' be eating the cookies that night -they're to take home!).
So here's a sign up for that. Reply all with what you'd like to bring for us to enjoy. If you want to bring something not listed or you want to bring another of something someone else has already signed up for, help yourself!
